Q. What is your return or exchange policy?

As each of our garments and accessories is meticulously handcrafted to order, we do not offer refunds
once a piece has been sold. However, in the rare instance of a genuine quality concern on a custom order
(excluding sale pieces), we may, at our discretion, offer an exchange for store credit, provided it meets our terms and conditions.

Q. Do you charge extra for larger sizes?

We condemn the infamous 'fat tax' that many designers impose on custom sizing. At Papa
Don't Preach, we believe that a garment should be made to fit for your body was not made to fit the dress. We offer custom sizing at no additional cost, ensuring that every piece is crafted with the same dedication to fit, comfort, and beauty, regardless of size.

Q. Do you offer repairs and Refittings on purchased outfits?

Yes, we offer repairs and minor Refittings up to 6 months from the date of purchase. At Papa Don't Preach, we believe in honoring the longevity of every handcrafted piece.
Minor adjustments in fit are complimentary within the first 6 months.
Major sizing alterations may incur a nominal charge, as they often require reconstructing the garment, reopening seams, and restoring hand-embellished embroidery from scratch.
For more extensive modifications or repairs, pricing will be determined based on the intricacy of the work required.
All alterations/repairs post the 6 month time period will be on chargeable basis, the charges for the same will be shared by your preach stylist post consultation with the artisans on the intricacy of the repairs.

CUSTOMIZATION AND PRODUCT DETAILS:

Q. Can I customize a lehenga into an Anarkali or transform a jumpsuit into a lehenga?

Absolutely. We celebrate individuality and offer silhouette modifications based on the style. However, as This involves a complete reconstruction from pattern development to fabric curation, intricate hand embroidery, and expert tailoring additional charge will apply to honor the artisans' craftsmanship and time.

Q. Can heel heights be customized?

It depends on the footwear design. We offer select styles where heel height modifications are possible. Our standard offerings include a curated range of 3-inch and 5-inch options to ensure both comfort and elegance.

Q. Will the embellishments fade over time?

Every embellishment we use is carefully chosen for its beauty and longevity. However, like all fine craftsmanship, they require care as they are naturally subject to weather conditions. Store your pieces in
our up-cycled dust bags provided. Keep them in a cool, dry place, and avoid exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, or extreme temperatures to maintain their brilliance.

Q. Are children's outfits priced lower than adult designs?

We offer select pieces in children's sizing at a lower price point. For customized matching ensembles, lighter designs may have a reduced cost, but intricate pieces remain subject to craftsmanship, material, and detailing similar to our couture collections.

Q. Can I purchase just the blouse or just the blazer from a set?

Each of our creations is designed as a complete vision, with thoughtful versatility that allows for seamless
styling across occasions. For this reason, we do not sell pieces as separates.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept a variety of payment options, including Cash Deposit, Debit/Credit Cards, UPI, PayPal, Razorpay, Amex, and Direct Bank Transfers.

Q. Do you offer complimentary alterations?

We provide minor alterations, such as an inch of tightening or loosening, free of charge during the first fitting. However, for adjustments beyond 2 inches, there will be an additional charge, as these require a more intricate restructuring of the garment.

Q. Why do we charge for shipping when other brands offer it for free?

Unlike mass-produced brands, each of our pieces is a work of art delicately handcrafted and requiring exceptional care in packaging and transit. We charge a nominal shipping fee to ensure that every order is handled with the attention and protection it deserves.

PAYMENT PLANS:

Q. Do you provide EMI or instalment payment plans?

We do not offer EMI options. To initiate production, we require an 80% advance payment, with the remaining balance to be cleared before dispatch.

Q. Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?

No, we do not offer COD. However, if you prefer to pay in cash, you are welcome to make the payment at any of our retail locations.

PRODUCT CARE AND CUSTOMIZATION:

Q. Are your designs suitable for all seasons?

Our creations transcend seasons, designed for year-round wear. However, we do recommend avoiding heavy embellishments during monsoon months to preserve their beauty over time.

Q. Can I request a more modest version of a design?

Absolutely. We can adjust the neckline, sleeve length, and add overlays or dupattas to ensure the outfit aligns with your style preferences while retaining its signature charm.

Q. Can I request a colour change for a blouse or printed outfit?

Solid-coloured designs can be customised in alternate shades. However, for printed garments, a complete customization process is required, taking approximately 10 weeks. Pricing will vary based on the complexity of the change.

Q. Why do you charge for customization when other brands don't?

Customization at Papa Don't Preach is not a mere color swap4it is an artful transformation. Changing the color or pattern involves sourcing new materials, adapting intricate embroidery, and ensuring the reimagined piece meets our meticulous quality standards. Unlike brands that mass-produce, we uphold our artisans' craftsmanship, which is reflected in the customization charges.

Q. Why is there an additional charge for adding sleeves?

Adding sleeves is not a simple alteration; it requires restructuring the garment's balance and silhouette while maintaining its original design integrity. This level of precision demands additional craftsmanship, time, and materials, which is why it incurs a supplementary charge.

Q. How can I best care for my PDP pieces?

Each piece is crafted to be treasured for a lifetime. Please refer to our [Product Care Manual] for detailed guidance on preserving the beauty and longevity of your handcrafted garments and accessories.

BRIDAL APPOINTMENTS:

Q. How can I book a bridal appointment with the designer, Shubhika Sharma?

Shubhika enjoys personally collaborating with her Brides + Grooms to bring their dream ensembles to life. Bridal appointments can be booked online or in-store, subject to Shubhika's availability in the city on your selected dates.

A pre-charge of 1,00,000/- is required to secure the appointment, which will be fully adjusted against the final order amount on a minimum order value of INR 5,00,000/- and above. The appointment slot will be
for 2 hours only, beyond which your Personal Preach Stylist team will take over. We understand that finalizing your dream outfit takes time hence the INR 1,00,000/- token amount will be valid for up to 7 days post your appointment. Please note that the token amount is non-refundable, in such a case that the order is not closed in the stipulated time, the token will be considered as the appointment fee. To schedule
